I just don't know how to say this, but a cities government did something that, well, seems to be sensible and well thought out.

Its possible. They may have just proven us all wrong.

In a shocking display of common sense that has the cities underbelly reeling, Bonn, Germany has installed 'hooker meters'. Prostitutes must pay 6 Euros, or about 8 and a half bucks, for a permit to ply their trade from 8pm to 6am. If they are caught without the permit, they get a fine. No word on whether or not the fine is taken out in trade. Prostitution is legal in Germany, BTW.

I really like how they have legitimized an act between two consenting adults. Now, decriminalize drugs, and other things thinking people don't really give a shit about, and our civilization might stand a chance. Until the machines rise up and take over.

For those of you that didn't click that link, it's an article about a robot that uses biomass as fuel, to generate electricity. It burns biomass. Wikipedia defines biomass as 'biological material from living, or recently living organisms'.
